Specifications
The Malwa 560C is a combined harvester and forwarder for thinning from inside stands. For landowners and forestry contractors wanting to fell and forward timber with a single base machine. Switching between harvester and forwarder mode takes about 20 minutes.
The powerful 75-horsepower Caterpillar C2.8 engine meets the latest environmental requirements and delivers the optimal balance between performance and fuel economy. Separate pump systems for the transmission and the working hydraulics ensure optimal power distribution and maximum efficiency whether manoeuvring the machine or operating the crane. True differentials ensure equal wheel rotation regardless of ground contact.
As a harvester, the machine is equipped with a Log Max 2000T head, with a cutting capacity of up to 41 cm. As a forwarder, it uses an HSP grapple to load up to 5.5 tonnes. Now equipped with a Cranab FC5 crane with a 6.5-metre reach, 40 cm longer than before.
With Generation 5, we’ve taken further steps to improve both performance and the work environment. An optimised hydraulic system delivers improved precision and efficiency while the continuously variable transmission contributes to smoother and more controlled manoeuvring.To increase stability when working in difficult terrain, the articulated joint lock has been reinforced, affording the operator greater control and a safer working day. The new cab offers more floor space and even better visibility.

Latest generation engine
